RAW HONEY | 'Washington' 54701
Residential and rural all in one, this location is on the southern edge of Eau Claire, nestled near the gardens of the family home.
These harvests are currently available:
2023/07/05 - A deep amber-hued honey influenced by an abundance of chicory flowering in the area just before harvest. This butterscotch sweet harvest finishes with bitter notes reminiscent of coffee fruit with resinous/herbal tones of soft eucalyptus flavor.
2023/08/08 - Bright, light, and smooth. This honey is the daylight to the previous harvest with a pale straw color, mild confectionary sweetness, and a pithy citrus flavor that evokes Meyer lemons.
2023/09/02 - This late-season harvest is an amber-gold color with a smooth texture. Again confectionary sweet with vanilla and candy notes. A slight warmth and wood are present in the flavor backbone.
2022/07/13 - An ungraded, white-colored honey. A beautiful residential area blend. Somewhat dry with woody/hay notes. use it tea, with a Belgian ale, or right from the spoon!
2022/08/01 - An ungraded, extra light amber-colored honey. This harvest is one of Drew’s favorites this season. Its soft sweetness gives way to a finish that’s reminiscent of over-ripe bananas. Pair it with soft cheese, a crisp pilsner, or eat it right from the spoon!
